What is this? Some kind of game show? It’s pretty weird, if so. Kind like a reverse Jeopardy, where they ask the questions first, then the give the answers. But the answers are in the form of a song.
Uh, well, maybe. I forget all the questions but the first one, which was asking for a number, and the first song gave a number. So that checked out. I don’t know if it was the correct number though.
For the second song, they need to let that one guy find relief. He sounds pretty backed up, if you know what I mean. And what I mean is that he sounds like he’s trying to, uh, well, never mind.
The more I hear of this, the less I think it’s a game show. Seems they are telling stories in most of the songs, sometimes with unsavory components to them.
I enjoyed the French song, especially where the girl was talking about Dijonaise (I’m assuming that she was talking about the mustard/mayo condiment from the 80s).
Hey, didn’t know Steely Dan played on this one! The lyrics and beat sound a bit different than I remember, though….
And Ben E King… oh, no, that’s not right. This sounds a bit unfortunate.
They keep trying to tie this stuff back into the game show. It’s not working.
