Pink Floyd actually covered a song by Muddy Waters – “I’m a King Bee”.
I wonder if Roger Waters (bassist (mostly) for Pink Floyd) and Muddy Waters (the blues guy) are related in some way? I mean, aside from both being first rate musicians. Like, maybe they had some kind of paternal relation from which they both inherited the last name “Waters”.
Though it’s really hard to see any family resemblance between them. Perhaps the DNA they share is more of the professional kind, a general kind of predilection for making music. I dunno. And I bet you probably don’t either. So there.
