You know what would be cool? If someone did a Linerider map that was set to Freedom Rider. That would be cool. Cool I say.
I really like this album. It was one of my favorites to throw on the 8 track in my Chevy Van when I was feeling in a unsettled mood. This would always put me in a different unsettled mood, which was just fine by me – I prefer to be other unsettled than just regular unsettled, especially when driving around in a Chevy Van (no Frank Frazetta-ish mural on the sides, sorry, just a simple sun faded blue).
Ah, wait, that was Carl’s van, I never owned a van. And I didn’t have an 8 track in any car (though I did have one at home), so I don’t know what I’m thinking of.
And I’m not certain Carl had a copy of this on 8 track, though he did have one with the “Best of Bread”, which I think was an absolute requirement for anyone driving a Chevy Van with an 8 track player in it at that time. Come to think of it, I think maybe it was Carl that made me feel unsettled, or perhaps the Best of Bread.
I’m not sure, that was a long time ago.
