Lotsa stoned going on, for everybody. But I don’t think he means it in a way that is pleasurable to some. Kinda like he’s saying that getting stoned here is a lot like getting low (See Cracker), getting pulled down and taken advantage of, being shucked aside and thrown in the gutter… you get what I’m saying, I guess.
And there’s really not a lot to get excited over on this album. Just Like a Woman is pretty familiar, but for the rest, maybe you need to be in an alternate state of conciousness to get more out of it? Maybe that’s why he insists that everyone must get stoned on the opening track?
